General Questions
What is web hosting?
Web hosting is renting space on a server that is connected to
the World Wide Web.
Do I have to know how to create web pages to have a web
site?
No. At Realm-Net Hosting, we can work with you to plan
and build your web site at an affordable hourly rate.
How much will it cost to build the web site?
The cost of building the web site depends on how much work
needs to be done. After a free consultation to determine your
needs, we will prepare a "Statement of Work" that will
outline the work to be done, such as the number of pages, the
general content of each page, and the general style (or theme)
to be used on your web site. The Statement of Work will also
outline the rest of the process of creating your web site. This
includes detailed design, prototypes of the theme and the actual
creation of the web pages. Finally, the Statement of Work will
give the price, based on the estimated hours.
How will people find my web site?
The main way will be through you advertising your web site's
address. Every place people see your business name, they should
also see your web site address.
We will also, at no charge, register your web sites at the top
search engines under the key words that people would use to find
your business.
